Chris Clark Jr. and Dr. Myava Clark, are the co- founders of CASEN and Kyra Clark is CASEN’s executive assistant. CASEN is a platform to assist students with accomplishing social wellness. The platform’s goal is to help students become prepared for mainstream social media platforms through their tool, CASEN Connect. The concept of CASEN derived from a conversation Chris Clark Jr. with his father asking him what he wished he had in school that could truly help kids today. Chris Clark Jr. graduated from highschool in 2016 and attended college for social work. Chris dealt with social and academic challenges taking special education and regular classes while often feeling torn between two different worlds. Despite the adversity he experienced he chose to join sports participating on cross country teams and drama club during his time in middle and high school. Which helped empower him to connect with his peers and find belonging.
